FORT “Kiver-M” bullet proof helmet

FORT “Kiver-M” bullet proof helmet is designed for use by special team officers of law enforcement agencies of Russian Federation. The helmet ensures all around head protection against APS automatic handgun bullets, Luger-Para bullets and fragmentation at velocity level of 570 m/s.
A unique multicomponent protection structure of the helmet absorbs nearly the entire energy of bullet impact that would have been transferred to head and neck (cervical spine), and that in combination with high reserve of bullet resistance ensures zero trauma which has not been achieved by any known ballistic helmet.
During design stage weight and dimensional characteristics of “Kiver-M” helmet were optimized using computer modelling which eventually made it possible to bring down accelerative load on head and to allow prolonged application of the helmet without any medical restictions in regard to usage time.
“Kiver-M” bullet resistant helmet may be supplied with fast removable polycarbonate visor and radio communication harness installed in liner inside helmet or upon the outer surface of the helmet.
Protection surface of the helmet - 16 sq.dm; total weight of the helmet - 1,6 kg.

On request the helmet can be supplied with an additional outer cover either in mono color or in camouflage.
