FORT “Arpha-LM (T5)” assault shield
 
FORT  “Arpha-LM (T5)” assault shield is designed for protection during storming  operations inside buildings,airplanes and railroad transport. Special design  and unique armour structure of the shield provide for high maneuverability and  high efficiency protection against hard steel core bullets for AKM and AK-74  assualt rifles, mild steel core bullets for SVD rifle, bullets for M16 rifles (A1  and A2) at 5 meter  distance with a low probability of ricochet.
The shield  is equipped with a removable flap attached at the bottom part of it.
The flap is  supplied with a hard panel raizing protection level fromcass 2 to class 5.
Total  protection surface of  “Arpha-LM (T5)”  assault shield -

  28 sq.dm.  Weight – up to 14 kg.  
Due to its  design in regard to locatiion of handles and belt elements the shield can be  suitably held by either right or left hand. At the face surface in the middle  of it under a fabric flap there is bright red sticker (circle) distracting  attention of enemy and confusing aiming process.
