Range of “Defender” vests has a number of models for use by both law enforcement officers and security personnel of variuos organizations.
This FORT body armour series makes the most of modular principle of arranging protection - from protection class 1 to 5 per Russian state standard GOST R 50744-95 while precisely adjusted ergonomics provides for optimal combination of high efficiency protection and user comfort.
Optimized design of basic FTF armour elements and reinforcement armour panels allow to use the vest for both covert and overt wear and do not hinder arms movement in the course of operational activity. When properly used “Defender” can substitute 4 vests of various threat levels.
Protection surface of base soft armour – 37 sq.dm., weight – 1,5 kg. Outer cover can be made of mixture fabrics in white, beige, dark blue color or of Cordura in khaki, grey, green, blue, black or camouflage colors.
Combining the best features of “Defender” vests high efficiency operative body armour sets were designed among which FORT OK “Defender-2” that is now standard equipment for Special Assignment Center of RF Federal Security Service.
